As an IHK-certified specialist for occupational health management, I help companies to take responsibility for the health of their employees and to act in a progressive manner.
Companies should not only promote team spirit, but also employees' awareness of their own well-being.
As a member of the German Association for Occupational Health Management, I believe that New Work is not just about enabling independent, creative and agile working. It requires a concept that goes far beyond a fitness allowance or fruit basket.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MANAGEMENT
For People & Culture teams, the goal of all health-promoting measures in the company should be to impart knowledge, establish routines and habits that enable employees to lead healthier lives and integrate what they have learned into their personal everyday lives.
The individual health concept should be based on the current needs and challenges of the teams and include measures that support employees in the short and long term. There is no one-size-fits-all solution here.
This is why Y.AVENA's corporate well-being concepts include needs-oriented modules such as stress management, nutrition and mindfulness, which promote resilience and both mindfulness and body awareness in teams. Each module runs over several weeks and includes a wide variety of sessions that take place live - virtually or on site. The basics are taught with exciting on-demand content and video basics in order to anchor what has been learned in the long term.
Inspiring impulses are provided for each module with weekly team events: Mindful Morning Breakfast (nutrition module), Vision Board Workshop (mindfulness module), Digital Detox Habits and Relaxation Journeys (stress management module).
The kick-off event kicks off the health program and offers employees the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the processes, speakers and content and to get excited about and register for participation.Trust, appreciation and personal development are strengthened in the context of New Work, mental health and employer branding and promote a healthy working relationship in the long term.
"The only impossible journey is the one you never begin."

42% of adults in Switzerland are overweight - a significant risk factor for chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases and some cancers - and is therefore associated with a higher risk of premature death*.

Selfcare Days
A modern interpretation of classic health days
The Selfcare Days are a modern version of the Health Days and help companies to promote stress resilience and invest in the well-being of the team in order to be able to rely on a healthy working relationship in the long term.
At this one-day or multi-day event, employees experience the benefits of a healthy diet, exercise and mindfulness in a practical way and how to integrate these elements into their everyday lives.
The Federal Office of Public Health FOPH has summarized the numerous benefits for employers and employees resulting from the successful implementation of workplace health promotion here.
Mental health
Mental health is the key to holistic well-being and lasting satisfaction - both in your private and professional life.
In order to be able to rely on a healthy and productive working relationship in the long term, it is essential for companies to understand exactly how stress arises, what signs and symptoms of burnout can occur and how managers can actively and effectively support their employees. This is the only way to create positive working conditions that promote motivation and health.

45% of Swiss women suffer - at least some of the time - from work-related stress. Mind-body interactions (MBI) such as yoga & meditation can change and reverse molecular reactions in our DNA that trigger stress, anxiety and depression*.
