Hello, I am Karolin Werminghoff
As the founder of Y.AVENA and an expert in plant-based and Ayurvedic nutrition, yoga and meditation, I support my clients in establishing a healthy lifestyle. Whether in a private or professional environment: with contemporary consulting and coaching services, I impart exciting knowledge, inspire and convey my passion, which has become a vocation.
Yoga & meditation ensure my physical and mental balance every day. I'm just as passionate about discovering new foods, especially plant-based ones, when I'm cooking. I love the colorful variety, packed with nutrients and the delicious dishes that you can conjure up from them - without having to go without.
I spent almost 20 years in the(digital) marketing world as an expert, working on online strategies and media campaigns for international clients. This is where I realized the importance of a work-life balance for me and, after further training in the areas of yoga, meditation and nutrition, I started my own business, Wellbeing Consulting, to increase well-being and stress resilience in companies and at home.

My philosophy
In my professional career, I have had to take time off myself and create the necessary work-life balance and therefore know about the weak points in everyday working life and the challenges for employees and companies.
Enjoyment without sacrifice
My own nutrition and food coaching sessions are not just about health. Rather, my aim is to pass on my in-depth expertise and personal experience in order to establish a healthy and balanced lifestyle without making any sacrifices. In particular, I would like to help people to experience the many health benefits in a sustainable way and integrate them into their everyday lives.
More well-being
Stress and time pressure are increasingly shaping our everyday lives, which is why it is all the more important that we develop an individual and personal routine that keeps us permanently in balance. Yoga, meditation and various relaxation exercises help us to develop more mindfulness and find inner peace.
Y.AVENA combines yoga, which in Sanskrit stands for "union, connection", and in a broader sense for "unity/harmony".
The other is the Italian and Spanish word for oats: Avena - a grain that offers great health benefits, is one of my favorite dairy alternatives and immediately inspired me when I started out in the plant-based world.
Last but not least, there are also translations for yavena, which in North Indian stands for "How do I get to", i.e. the guiding path to a goal.
