NO REGRETS CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

 

Chickpeas in a dessert? Oh yeah. Tastes wonderfully creamy and chocolaty. Sinfully delicious, but just as healthy. A perfect dessert to accompany your well-deserved evening meal.

INGREDIENTS (2 portions)

  • Liquid from 1 tin/jar of chickpeas = aquafaba (you can easily make hummus from the chickpeas)

  • 1/2 bar of dark chocolate

  • 1 tbsp agave syrup

  • Berries and grated coconut to garnish

PREPARATION

  • Place the aquafaba in a mixing bowl or tall container and beat like egg whites until it becomes a fluffy mass - this can take up to 10 minutes.

  • In the meantime, melt the dark chocolate and leave to cool slightly.

  • Mix with the creamy mixture and sweeten with agave syrup as required.

  • Pour into dessert glasses and chill for at least 2 hours.

  • Decorate with berries and grated coconut.
